These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern the provision of domain name registration, email services, and web hosting (“Services”) offered by California Media LLC (“Service Provider”) to our clients by using our services, the Customer agrees to the following:

Terms & Conditions for Domain Name, Email & Web Hosting Services
1. Service Scope
1.1 The Service Provider will supply domain registration/renewal, email hosting, and web hosting services as requested by the Customer.
1.2 Services are subject to availability, technical constraints, and third-party provider policies (e.g., ICANN, hosting providers).
1.3 The Customer is responsible for providing accurate information required for service activation.
2. Domain Name Registration & Renewal
2.1 Domain names are registered under the Customer’s name, subject to availability.
2.2 Domain renewal reminders will be sent prior to expiry or on the same day; however, timely renewal is the Customer’s responsibility.
2.3 The Service Provider is not liable for any loss of domain due to late payment or Customer’s delay.
2.4 Domain renewal fees may vary based on registrar pricing.
3. Email & Web Hosting Services
3.1 Hosting and email services will be provided as per the agreed plan.
3.2 The Customer is responsible for maintaining backup copies of all website files, databases, and emails.
3.3 The Service Provider may suspend services in case of:
- Overuse of server resources
- Security risks or malware
- Non-payment
3.4 Bulk emailing, spam, or misuse of hosting resources is strictly prohibited.
4. Payment Terms
4.1 All invoices must be paid in full before activation, renewal, or continuation of services.
4.2 Payments are non-refundable once the service has been activated.
4.3 Any late payments may result in service interruption without prior notice.
4.4 Prices may change due to currency fluctuations or vendor pricing updates.
5. Transfer Charges
5.1 If the Customer requests to transfer the domain name, hosting, or email services to another provider, a mandatory service transfer fee of AED 5,000 will apply.
5.2 The transfer process will begin only after the transfer fee has been fully settled.
5.3 Transfer includes providing necessary access, EPP codes, and coordination with the Customer or the receiving service provider.
5.4 The Service Provider is not responsible for any downtime or data loss during or after transfer.
6. Data & Security
6.1 The Customer is responsible for securing their passwords, login credentials, and sensitive data.
7. Service Limitations & Liability
7.1 Services are provided on a best-effort basis with no guarantee of 100% uptime.
7.2 The Service Provider is not liable for:
- Business loss due to downtime
- Website issues caused by third-party plugins, scripts, or developers
- Delays caused by external vendors
7.3 Maximum liability shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Customer in the last 12 months.
8. Suspension & Termination
8.1 The Service Provider may suspend services in case of:
- Non-payment
- Violation of policies
- Illegal or harmful activities
8.2 Either party may terminate the agreement with prior written notice.
8.3 No refunds will be issued upon termination of service.
Customer Responsibilities
9.1 The Customer agrees to comply with local and international regulations.
9.2 The Customer must ensure all uploaded content is legal and free from intellectual property violations.
9.3 The Customer must notify the Service Provider of any technical issues within reasonable time.
